Hair Loss
What causes Hair Loss for Men & Women?
I am helping more Men & Women with hair loss than ever before. I feel it is becoming more common now as we are living in such a fast paced world that demands so much from us, leading to high levels of stress, which in turn has a huge effect on our hair and overall health. I often see clients with alopecia, post-chemotherapy and with male or female pattern baldness.
You are not alone!
The main thing is, you are not alone. Studies show that more than 50% of men will suffer some form of thinning hair or hair loss in their lifetime. For women, approx. 30% of women claim to have thinning hair or hair loss in their fertile years and 40% in menopause. Hair loss affects anyone, regardless of age, race or gender. Hair and scalp issues may be temporary or permanent. They can be the result of medical conditions, a normal part of ageing, genetic, diet, lifestyle, hormonal imbalances, medication, thyroid, progesterone/estrogen levels, or allergies. The most common type of hair loss I treat is Androgenic Alopecia this is otherwise known as male/ female pattern baldness. The next most common hair loss is from chemotherapy or gender transition. Maintaining a well-balanced diet is very important. It all starts from within. I recommend a combination of the right supplements with nutrients (such as Biotin, Copper Nettle leaf, Zinc and vitamin B to name a few) as well as introducing natural and soothing hair and scalp products to help ease the symptoms and reverse hair loss. I have included some photos to illustrate some of our recent client success stories.
